1. How to search Importers Database?

If you want to find an importer, you can either use our search function or simply browse by category (see demo).

  • Click the "Importers Database" on the main navigation bar on any page;
  • The entire category will be shown on the left side of the screen;
  • Choose a product category and then a subcategory will bring you the full list of importers collected under this subcategory;
  • You can also use  " Search by Imported Product" or "Search by Importer's Name" tool to narrow your search, and
  • To look at importer' profile, please click "Company Info" link behind company's name.

2. What is the Advanced search?

The Advanced search is available to all subscribers and provides additional search criteria. These criteria include:

  • Country or region
  • Business type: importer, distributor, wholesaler, agents or others


3. How to contact Importers?

Once you find a potential buyer for your products, you can contact him/her by sending a quotation.

4. Why can't I find importers' email address?

We do not display importers' email addresses on the site. This minimizes the risk of importers receiving spam or viruses. So, to send your message, simply click "Please Click Here to Send Email" and your message will be sent.

5. How do I tell if an email has been received by the recipient?

The email messages sent via businesschannel1.com are re-sent 3 times if they do not go through on the first attempt. If an error message is received such as message can't be delivered, incorrect email address, etc, it will be forwarded to our quality control staffs to follow up. Please note that it may take some time before some companies respond to emails and some do not respond at all. You may also contact them by telephone or fax.

6. How to save an importer's profile to My Contact List?

To save an importer's profile, please click "Add to My Contact List" link under importers profle and this importers information will be saved. You can save up to 30 importers in your Contact List (see demo).

7. I find an importer's contact information is incorrect, how can it be happened?

We have made extraordinary efforts to provide accurate information. All information is verified by our quality control staffs, whom audit and update our records every week. However, in case where an importer changes its address or phone number there will be an incorrect entry in our database. We (and will always) go to great lengths in order to ensure that situation like this occurs as infrequently as possible.

8. I have received spam through businesschannel1.com, what can I do?

You may lodge a complaint with our spam service by sending an e-mail to spam@businesschannel1.com. Please include the spam message received. We will contact the user and request that they stop sending such messages. We have instated several anti-spam measures, including the following:

  • no attachments allowed
  • no multiple e-mails allowed
  • e-mail addresses not displayed

9. How to create the best email?

Here are some tips for email marketing success:

  • Use a good subject line: Your subject line determines whether your message gets opened or deleted. If your message is not opened, your marketing message is not seen.
  • Make sure you enter your email address correctly in your contact form (or if you are a businesschannel1.com subscriber, make sure your address is correct in your user profile)
  • Target your messages so you are contacting companies most likely to respond to your request (note: sending spam via businesschannel1.com is expressly prohibited by our Terms and Conditions)
  • Follow up: Don't think of your message as a one-off - it takes time to build a relationship and establish trust. You MUST follow up with your prospects or you're throwing away money. It can take 5 or more contacts to make a sale, but the recipient may well become a life-long customer.
